Women's Ministry

« …She speaks with wisdom…She watches over the affairs of her household…Her children arise and call her blessed…her husband also, and he praises her… » (Prov 31, 26-28)

Are they not sweet? these words from Lemuel, king of Massa who portrays the epitome of a virtuous woman!

Nowadays, though, many would argue that these words are “too good to be true”. At The Rock of Ages Christian Assembly, we dare to think otherwise. We strongly believe that these words are neither idealistic nor utopian. In our eyes, they certainly can become a daily reality for every single woman in our Church. From where comes this assurance, you may ask? It stems from our total dependence upon the Eternal God, the Rock of Ages who directs and orders our every step. And with Him on our side, “Impossible” becomes just an empty and a void word!

1. Our Goals

-To help women in our Ministry get a sound knowledge of the Word of God, which is the perfect Instruction Manual for marital life. Provided they are thoroughly followed, the Bible instructions will turn our women into women of distinction and excellence.

 -To restore woman in her central role in the family. Far from being a source of dishonor and distress in her home, a woman should be like a flower which always blossoms and never dries out. She should constantly beautify her home by spreading joy, harmony, peace and happiness around her. (Prov 18, 22)

When God first introduced Eve to her Man, an ecstatic Adam shouted: “This is now bones of my bones, flesh of my flesh!” (Genesis 2, 23). We want our women to win such high praise from their husbands on daily basis!

-To turn our women into faithful servants of God, who are able to play their role as the Salt of the Earth and the Light of the Word.

2. Our methods

In essence, our monthly gatherings are meetings of exhortation around the Word of God. Add on top of that some practical advices, and you get a great Faith-building Ministry.

Granted, Our Ministry is not very populated -to stay the least(only very few women are part of it). However, we thank God that these very few have caught the Vision. Just like the Christians of Sardis, these strong women are able (if need be) to actually reach out to any backsliders and help them get back up.

3. Projects

-We plan to organize fellowships with women from other Churches in order: a) To compare our working methods b) To hopefully inspire one another through shared personal experiences and testimonies c) To  strengthen our brotherly bonds within the Body of Christ.
